Erich Stumpp, DVM, completed his undergrad at the University of Connecticut, studying animal dairy science. In 2002, he received his DVM from Auburn University. In 2003, Dr Stumpp completed a 1 year internship in emergency and critical care at Animal Emergency Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Upon the completion of his internship in 2004, he began working as an emergency veterinarian at California Animal Referral and Emergency Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA and was there until 2010. After working as a relief doctor in our emergency department for nearly 2 years, we are excited to announce that Dr. Stumpp has joined our team in a full time capacity in emergency and critical care. Dr. Stumpp's primary interests in emergency and critical care medicine are trauma and wound repair. In his spare time, he enjoys hockey, exercise and spending time with his wife and children.
